Foxwelleshop: Foxwell nt530 reset 2019 Honda ACCORD EPB

Foxwell NT530 scanner supports the same functions as Foxwell NT510 Elite. The main difference lies in the hardware configuration. In addition, they support the same language and execute the same automotive software. The only difference is that the NT530 can support Au Ford and Holden in Australia, while the NT510 Elite cannot. Here will share a tutorial to reset EPB on the 2019 HONDA ACCORD.

Note: This guide also applies to Foxwell NT530.

Main operation steps:

Connect NT510 Elite to the vehicle via the main diagnostic cable

Enter the main menu and select any car maker

Then select “Smart VIN”

It detects out the corresponding vehicle info successfully.

Select “Control Modules”-> “Anti- lock brake/ traction control/ vehicle stability auxiliary control system (ABS/TCS/VSA)”-> “Special Functions”-> “BRAKE PAD MAINTENANCE MODE”

There are two modes to perform:

- Enter BRAKE PAD MAINTENANCE MODE

- BACK TO NORMAL MODE

First, enter BRAKE PAD MAINTENANCE MODE.

Check the following conditions are fulfilled:

Release the parking brake

Stop the vehicle

Battery voltage is over 10.0V

Then execute pad exchange mode. The execution time takes about 25 seconds at the maximum.

When the transition to pad exchange mode has been completed, perform rear brake pad maintenance.

When the pad maintenance is completed, you must return to the normal mode in order to return the pad to the original position.

Next, back to normal mode.

Check the conditions are fulfilled same as “BRAKE PAD MAINTENANCE MODE”

Confirm return the pad to the normal state, the execution time also takes about 25 seconds at the maximum.

When the process is done, it will show “Pad was moved to its original position. This function procedure is finished.” Then you can see the same result on the dashboard.
