Foxwelleshop: 2014 BMW M4F82 Reset Oil by foxwell nt530

Foxwell NT530 BMW comes with pre-installed BMW software, which supports complete system diagnostic functions and more than 25 service reset functions, such as BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce from 1998 to 2020. Reset the oil service on the 2014 BMW M4F82.

Note: the device used in the video is Foxwell NT510 Elite, but NT530 also supports the same function for the car model and the operation guide is similar.

The details:

Connect the Foxwell scanner to the vehicle via main diagnostic cable properly

Enter the main menu and select BMW

Select vehicle “BMW” and start new session

Select “Smart VIN” to read VIN number

Detect out the corresponding vehicle info incl. model series, model, version, model year and VIN

Wait a moment to enter main groups

Then select “Service”-> “maintenance and pre-delivery check”-> Reset CBS Condition Based Service”-> “CBS reset UDS”

It starts reading CBS scope.

The current engine oil is 25%, 12000km and vehicle check is 15%, 60000

Confirm it and go to perform CBS reset and read CBS scope

Now the engine oil is 100%, 12000km and d vehicle check is 1%, 60000

The engine oil service on the dashboard: maintenance date is 12/2021, remain 12000km.

Check the vehicle info-> vehicle status-> maintenance service-> vehicle check

It shows the vehicle inspection is about to expire, please make an appointment with after-sales service.

The vehicle check is linked to the engine oil. If vehicle check and engine oil change were carried out at the same time, first carry out CBS reset engine oil.
