In the last post, foxwelleshop.com has confirmed that Foxwell NT530 successfully reset EPB on 2019 HONDA ACCORD. Today, we will share another test report on the 2019 Honda Odyssey.

Note: The device we used is Foxwell NT510 Elite, but Foxwell NT530 Honda also supports the same function for the same car.
Step-by-step guide:
Make sure the connection between the Foxwell OBD2 scanner and the vehicle via the main diagnostic cable is proper
Operate on Foxwell scanner
Select “Honda”-> “Smart VIN” to detect out the vehicle info automatically
Read out the vehicle is HONDA Odyssey 2019 (General) and shows the related VIN, equipment manufacturer code.
Select “Control Modules”-> “Brake Control System (BS)”-> “ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM (EPB)”-> “Special Functions”-> “BRAKE PAD MAINTENANCE MODE”
Turn the ignition switch on
The function is used in rear brake pad maintenance. Check the following conditions are fulfilled:
--Stop the vehicle
--Release parking brake
--Battery voltage is over 10.0V
Go to next step, brake pads are in the normal control position, then execute pad exchange mode.
Note: The execution time takes about 25 seconds at the maximum.
EPB system transits to pad exchange mode, then perform rear brake pad maintenance.
When the pad maintenance is completed, return to the normal brake pad position.
Now the EPB system transits to normal pad position. The function procedure is finished.
Turn off the ignition switch
Done!
