Today I will share here a real customer test report on the 2009 Mercedes Benz SL550 (R230) ABC rodeo competition using Foxwell NT510 Elite scanner. It is also suitable for Foxwell NT530 Benz.
I have a 2009 Mercedes Benz SL550 (R230) with less than 16,500 miles (10-26-20). I bought this NT510 Elite for less than $140 and used it to do the ABC rodeo test with AMG package.
After connecting foxwell nt510 elite Mercedes to my car via the main cable, I start to operate on this Foxwell obd2 scanner.
Go to Mercedes-> Benz-> Smart VIN, it detects the vin successfully.
Note: If the chassis number does not match the vehicle, enter VIN as a 17- digit code.
Then select the date of car manufacturer (month): from 06/2006 to 02/2008
Go to select the steering.
Follow the instruction, I press left button to select left-hand steering.
After that, go to select Control Modules-> Chassis-> Suspension-> Active Test
There are many options can be selected:
--Control and locking valve of front left suspension strut
--Control and locking valve of front right suspension strut
--Control and locking valve of rear left suspension strut
--Control and locking valve of rear right suspension strut
--Move toward calibrated level (automatic)
--Cyclically alternating actuation of all suspension struts in a circular motion (rodeo)
…
I select the rodeo option to test.
Before accessing the rodeo test, read the safety motes of the vehicle moves up carefully.
--Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or in extreme cases wven sever limbs! No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components.
Then go to start process with button [5] and stop process with button [4]
Awesome! It works well!
Thanks for the user’s sharing above!
