It allows you to perform reset maintenance mileage and data intervals for a replacement calculation of the Engine Oil Life system once changed the oil. The operation guide:
1.Record the current maintenance mileage and days is 100 km and 10 days
2.Connect NT650 Elite to the vehicle via main diagnostic cable
3.In the main menu, select Maintenance->> OILRESET->> VW->> Auto Reset
Note: If the automatic reset is not successful, please refer to the manual reset.
4.There are two modes to reset oil: OldMode and NewMode.
Select any mode to do. If the current mode cannot be reset, just use another mode.
Here select OldMode to try, then select small maintenance or high maintenance is ok. The operation steps are similar.
5.Here select “Small maintenance
Then you can reset the oil service by selecting any option as below depending on your need:
- 5000 km/180 day
- 7500 km/180 day
- 15000 km/365 day
- Manual set
- ESI Resetting ESI
When reset successfully, “The new values have been set success!” will show on the screen, and the corresponding values will appear on the dashboard at the same time.
1.Reset the oil to 5000 km/180 day- success
2.Reset the oil to 7500 km/180 day- success
3.Manual set to 10000km/365 day- success
